Greetings! Welcome to the Servant Leadership Program blog!
We are excited to share our collective journey with you!

This blog will serve as a public venue for the students in the program to share their insights, questions, challenges, fears, and accomplishments. The intent is to create a space that not only serves as a platform for the SLP students to share learning, but for others to contribute to what will hopefully become a common space for leadership dialogue.

The Servant Leadership Program is designed as an exploratory journey, one that invites students to navigate their inner landscape, fully engaging in the questions of self and calling – Who am I? Why am I here? – and embracing the challenges of discovering one’s own capacity to lead from this authentic sense of self. Students in the program examine how their calling intersects with the needs of the world and are challenged to offer courageous acts of leadership at Gustavus and in the community of Saint Peter.

In order to reach these aspirations, SLP members will engage in and reflect on the following questions as a guide for the blog: How does one cultivate a life of intentionally noticing, anticipating, and magnifying positive potential in self and others? How can leaders create a community of abundant possibility? How do I contribute to or act against unjust systems?

We encourage dialogue and embrace community, so please read what is posted, reflect, and contribute to the conversation! All voices are welcome!

Sincerely,
The SLP
